Renovations Lead to Water Reduction

Housed in two different buildings on its San Diego campus, A.O. Reed’s sheet metal and pipe fabrication facilities each specified Sloan hybrid urinals, ECOS® flushometers and Optima® EAF-275 faucets to not only renovate its existing restrooms, but an additional newly constructed restroom space. Optima EAF-275 solar-powered faucets are delivering an efficient 0.5 gpm with a 30-second timeout setting to eliminate unnecessary water consumption in A.O. Reed’s facility.

Meanwhile, Sloan’s Hybrid Urinals with JetRinse® Solution Technology keep the urinals and drain lines clean, hygienic, odor- and clog-free with their waterfree operation. Equipped with their water-saving and hands-free benefits, Sloan’s fixtures not only upgraded the existing three restrooms for the workers in the sheet metal and pipe fabrication shops, but even re-worked a women’s-only and superintendents and department heads restroom.
